Web Site Accessibility
AMC® strives to make its services and web site accessible for all guests, including people with disabilities.
We support the principles of the Disability Discriminations Act (1995) and are committed to recognising and responding to our guests with special needs.
This web site has been designed with guest satisfaction in mind along with providing a premium entertainment experience — we want you to get around, find the information for which you are looking and have a good time. While we have worked to provide a web site that is accessible to as many people as possible, please reach us through our Contact Us section if you are having any problems with the site.
Cinema Accessibility
Both UK cinemas are fully accessible with auditorium spaces available for guests utilizing wheelchairs, lowered service counter heights and accessible toilet facilities.
To ensure the comfort of our guests, we offer companion seating to allow guests in wheelchairs to sit next to their movie-going companions in standard seating.
Both UK cinemas are fitted with infra-red systems, an emitter at the cinema broadcasts sound from the film to guests wearing lightweight headsets or body units. Please request a device when you purchase your ticket at the box office or ask any crew member to assist.
Both UK cinemas are equipped with portable hearing loop systems which can be used at our box office, guest services or concession stand.
It is our intention, wherever possible, that our premises and facilities are accessible whatever the nature of disability. We work with other interested parties such as the Cinema Exhibitors Association, Employers Forum on Disability, The UK Film Council to develop solutions to industry-wide barriers to access.
